Posh Bada Prasad — January 2027

In the Hindu month of Posh — starting from approximately mid-December and ending mid-January — Brihaspati Dham Mandir organises the Posh Bada Offering (Prasad).

On this day, patties (pakoras / bada) made from lentils, and halwa made from fine semolina (suji / besan), are offered to the idol of Lord Dev Guru Brihaspati. The offering happens before or after the Maha Aarti — and since Maha Aarti takes place every Thursday, this Posh Bada Prasad is celebrated on the second Thursday of every new year.
