Manokamna Tokri
To obtain the blessings of Dev Guru Brihaspati and reduce the Brihaspati Dosha, the Manokamna Tokri is offered to the idol of Lord Brihaspati at Brihaspati Dham Mandir every Thursday.
What’s offered
Each tokri carries a traditional set of offerings, each item yellow in colour to honour Dev Guru Brihaspati’s Sattvaguna.
- Chana Dal (yellow lentils)
- Saboot Haldi (whole turmeric)
- Nariyal (coconut)
- Yellow cloth
- Yellow flower garland
How it works
- 1Choose a package below — single, 7, 21, or 52 Thursdays.
- 2Share your name, gotra, and the manokamna (wish) — sankalpa is taken in your name.
- 3The tokri is offered every Thursday at the temple, on consecutive Thursdays for the chosen duration.
